Briefing with PageProof

Did you know roughly 65% of creative work produced is actually based on changes required to existing artwork?

Common methods of briefing in creative requirements are:

  • A generic Word template is completed and emailed
  • An internal web form is filled out and submitted
  • A hard copy paper form is scribbled on and left on a designer’s desk
  • An email with written instructions is sent, with the file and accompanying assets attached

These old-school ways of briefing are inefficient, not easily managed, and are often unclear for those who need to action the work.

That’s why we created an artwork briefing module for PageProof.

Creative briefing with PageProof

Simply put, you can take an existing file that you’d like changes made to, upload it into PageProof, add your comments using the red pen tool and send it to your agency, colleague, or internal designer as a brief for actioning.

Creating a brief looks like this:

1. Drag and drop a file to create a new brief.1. Drag and drop a file to create a new brief.

Briefs are organised neatly and in order of deadline on the receivers dashboard.

When the receiver of your brief has a proof ready for you to view, they upload the first proof version on top of the brief and you’ll be invited to review and approve the work.

All the history is kept together letting you at any stage go back in time to view the initial brief, all the proof versions and the of course the proof that was given final approval.

Nice and simple, just like PageProof.
